Happy Holidays! Here's some tips on giving and living mindfully during the holidays.

In light of the current overlapping health, environmental and social justice crises, we acknowledge that protecting our ocean will not be achievable without viewing environmental concerns on balance with social injustices.

A few months ago Jack Johnson asked us to create a custom Ahi grip tape to raise money for The Surfrider Foundation. Check it out! 

We wrapped up the end of 2019 with Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii, Kokua Hawaii Foundation and CounterCurrent Art on an education tour on Oahu's North Shore. We gave students reusable bags and bamboo straws, wrote letters to the ocean, and discussed how to protect the places we love. 8 days, 6 schools, and over 1,000 student participants, we are filled with joy and feeling inspired as we continue to scale solutions to ocean pollution in 2020

We are excited to highlight some of the most urgent ocean issues as they play out globally by profiling some of the compelling work and research from The Outlaw Ocean Project and Ian Urbina who has spent the past several years reporting on lawlessness at sea.

A surfer, designer, artist, and explorer, Lake Buckley likes to experiment with different mediums—in life and in art. She thinks of her creative process as a kind of 'rotational farming'.

For artist and surfer Jonas Claesson, the ocean serves as an inspiration for his artwork as well as a source of fun and adventure.
